Some Amazing Grilled Chicken
One of my favorite chicken recipes is one I concocted myself based on several fine chicken salads I had had in restaurants. I adapt to whatever is on hand. The basics are baked, boneless chicken breasts or those little tenderloins. Having those already cooked makes the rest a snap!
Simply cut into small, bite size pieces, toss with dried cranberries and walnuts, maybe some mandarin or fresh oranges and a small amount of fruit dressing.
Excellent, looks exotic, cheap and actually good for you if you don’t go crazy on the dressing. Many people around the world love to eat chicken, therefore they are always on look our for recipes with chicken of whatever kind for new trials. It doesn’t matter whether the chicken is grilled, roasted, fried or boiled, they just want to try out and discover the taste for themselves.

There are lots of recipes for chicken out there. I’ve tried lots of them and most are very good. I don’t like to spend the time it takes though, so here’s how I do it. Loosely fill the crockpot with chicken. Add water to just cover the chicken. Add a full handful each of garlic powder and onion powder, sprinkling over the top. Seriously, a real handful, not just sprinkle some out of the bottle. You can also use the real thing, a couple onions and several garlic cloves, but powder is more convenient. Also add any other seasonings you like. If you just can’t use onions or garlic, you may want to add a few bullion cubes.
Cover and cook on low until done. There will be an incredible smell during the last few hours of cooking. The food is done cooking in the crockpot after cooking on low for 6 to 8 hours and it no longer smells strongly. Most recipes for chicken call for boneless and skinless pieces, but if you want to make soup with the cooking juices, the bones will add a lot of flavor. Serve it warm right out of the crockpot with a side dish option, or wrap it separately and put it in the freezer until you need to use cooked chicken.
